ROY THINNES
Unlike the comic book, the paperback adaptation of the series strayed quite a bit from the Invader Mythology. The book is written by Keith Laumer and is for readers who might like a diversion from the show. Fairly suspenseful fare.
An extremely rare copy of paperback 2.
Extremely rare issue 3. I am not aware of any being released after issue 3.
Even more rare British paperback novel
This hardback features comic-like illustrations and a better storyline than the paperbacks. Rare, but many copies have been surfacing on E-bay and are modestly priced.
To my knowledge, there has only been one big little book, which features text on every other page and a comic frame on every second page. The BLBs are very small but thick--about 192 pages.
The Invaders is available on vhs tapes, but only about 12 episodes were released by Good Times Video back in 1988 in the LP Mode. Try Ebay, it's satellite Half.com or Amazon.com
The back cover tells about Gene Hackman's appearance as a traveling salesman who is really an alien. Roy told me that Gene was great to work with and had fun playing an alien on The Invaders.
Thanks go out to Chance Bartells for help in Invaders' research! The next pages deal mainly with Roy's acting roles outside of The Invaders.
